Company Establishment
BEST PATH RESEARCH was established today for the purpose of conducting applied research and development into Digital Transformation (DX) technologies using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.
The company’s founder, Dr. Edward Whittaker, received his PhD from the Cambridge University Engineering Department (thesis title: “Statistical Language Modelling for Automatic Speech Recognition of Russian and English”) and founded BEST PATH RESEARCH after working for 20 years in various R&D companies and institutions around the world.
The company’s co-founder, Dr. Hans Dolfing, received his PhD from the University of Eindhoven (specialization: handwriting recognition and authentication) and has worked for companies such as Philips and Apple in Europe and Silicon Valley.
Both our founders met initially as colleagues while at Philips Research Labs in Germany and made the decision to combine their expertise and experience in BEST PATH RESEARCH with the aim of accelerating DX in Japan and around the world.
